New York Jets sign Brady Quinn, Sanchez’s future in doubt

The Jets got Quinn. A long overdue statement since in the 2007 NFL draft it was rumored that the New York Jets had interest in the quarterback.

According to ESPN.com, the Jets have signed Quinn the former Denver Bronco, Cleveland Brown, Kansas City Chief and Seattle Seahawk, presumably as insurance for rookie Geno Smith and the injured Mark Sanchez. Now the question remains, what happens to Mark Sanchez?

Many believe that the Jets may cut or trade Sanchez, but either decision will require New York to eat a large portion of his contract.

In my opinion the one club that should consider trading for Mark Sanchez is one of his home state, California based teams; the Oakland Raiders.
