The legend began in Brooklyn with his birth and he was raised in Staten Island, Johnny P has been in the limelight for several years. When he was 14 years old and beyond, Johnny P was in the bands Barrage, Damage Inc, Unmasked and finally None of Your Business (NYB).

Potenza enjoyed his time with all of the bands he was a part of, however, he has said in several interviews with the Staten Island Advance and Staten Island Source Magazine that NYB was his favorite of them all. Aside from his musical experience, Johnny P entered the world of producing and hosting a weekly television program. Johnny P is the Host and Producer for The Late Night with Johnny P show.

With the joys of working on two successful shows and being part of a band, Johnny P though felt that while one show was incredible he felt the need to focus on one show at the time. So he chose The Late Night Show with Johnny P. Like with being mentioned in the SI Advance and SI Source Magazine, Johnny P has been featured in Mob Candy Magazine and his programming has been seen in issues of TV Guide. The guests on The Late Night with Johnny P have been stellar, ranging from actors, comedians and bands such as; Sopranos stars Vincent Pastore & Frank Albanse, radio personality Goumba Johnny, comedians Fred Rubino & don Jamison, Author/director Peter Iengo and Mob Wives stars Angela “Big Ang” Raiola and Carla Facciolo among many others.

The show now in its 5th season airs in front of a live studio audience and can be seen for those that have the following cable providers: Verizon FIOS, Time Warner Cable and Cable Vision. The show can also be seen on social media websites such as; Twitter and You Tube. It has also begun airing on channel LA36 in Los Angeles, California.
